Control 
The manufacturing
process is complimented by a series of quality control tests.
Saltbath furnaces
are used for characterising response to heat treatment of every heat.
A high resolution
metallurgical microscope with computer attachment is used for grain size
measurement, tempered microstructure, image analysis and storage.
With state of the
art manufacturing facilities, qualified and experienced manpower, AV
Alloys has commenced supplies of high quality custom made alloy steels
for specialised industrial applications.
During the course
of this year, AV Alloys will be receiving ISO 9002 certification.
